Founded in a time of sexual liberation, Playboy embodies a playful and flirtatious spirit, emancipating female sexual expression. Today, the Playboy brand is bigger than ever, encouraging their community to be expressive and embrace a lifestyle focused on pleasure, individuality, and whimsical sophistication. We have had the pleasure of working alongside this company to help build a new and dynamic lingerie line.
Playboy has worked closely with us here at BodywearLab to help design a new lingerie collection with the iconic Playboy branding at the centrepiece of it all. Playing with custom hardware, logo prints and mesh detailing, Playboy’s new lingerie collection is set to fly off the shelves.
Once the design, patterns, fabrics and overall design was more a less established between us and the Playboy team, our team got to work on their soon to be products’ technical sheets. The technical sheets we created illustrate the overall construction of each garment and all the technicalities that go behind them. Containing details such as measurements for any size range as well as other necessary findings and components useful to the building phase.

At BodywearLab, we helped bring to life Playboy’s products through the use and development of 3D designs. Showcasing the product in all its intricate detailing, 3D designs are a great way to visualise your collection ahead of going into development and production, allowing you to test with consumer groups or pitch to internal teams.
After handing over all of our work to our lingerie manufacturing partner in China, Playboy is on its way to launching their brand new lingerie department to support with their ongoing rebrand.
