Jean Paul Gaultier Lingerie Known for inclusivity, diversity, the mixing of genres and uplifting pillars within his world, Jean Paul Gaultier was one of the first designers to create a brand celebrating people of every colour, shape and identity. He is also recognized for his love of corsetry, often being worn as clothing in his collections and invoking the brand’s provocative and fun spirit. We are thrilled to be partaking in the journey of a Jean Paul Gaultier lingerie collection.
Jean Paul Gaultier came to BodywearLab to utilise our expertise in lingerie, specifically bras. We assisted in recreating their iconic cone bra whilst also creating a matching collection filled with corset-like cone bra dresses, skirts and biker shorts across multiple colourways.
We helped develop four styles in total including patterns, 1st and 2nd samples, as well as red seal samples plus support with production in our factory here in our HQ in London.
After a few trips to the JPG headquarters in Paris and many cone bras later, our relationship with the brand has only developed further, we are looking forward to seeing the launch of this collection.

Over the past few months many structured dresses, luxury biker shorts and iconic cone bras have been flying around the office heading from development, as we perfect the fit and structure of the pieces, to manufacturing where we hand the collection to our talented seamstresses to be produced in our London studio.
