Estabilished in 1967, Fiorucci was founded by the inimitable Elio Fiorucci, creative genius and master collaborator. Elio was like a magpie, spotting all that glittered, gathering it together to create art for all. Fast forward to 2017 and the world was pretty grey. Fashion was in desperate need of Elio’s energy – so they got it. Fiorucci relaunched with a fabulous new store on Brewer street right in the heart of London Soho. With a bar, cafe, customisation booth, and VIP shopping area; the store offers customers a chance to live the Fiorucci legend.
Fiorucci’s iconic aesthetic and own-label retail outlets have made them a design staple. Our highly sought after design team worked closely with Fiorucci’s head of production and creative director to build a unique design concept.
After a few trips to the JPG headquarters in Paris and many cone bras later, our relationship with the brand has only developed further, we are looking forward to seeing the launch of this collection.
By rummaging into the heritage archives that Fiorucci are best known for, our team worked with the label to harness the Fiorucci signature, then to redevelop it with really strong commercial shapes. Using our expertise to combine these elements allowed us to build out a stylish collection that encapsulated the spirit of the label, but remained ultimately fresh and wearable.

Fiorucci also came to BodywearLab to work with us on a branded activewear set, the team first design the activewear with mesh panneling and bands that included the brand’s iconic logo. Our team then took this set through to development ensuring that the fit was perfect before finally handing it to our production team for a small run in our London studio.
